Happy 10 Years to Dr. Bethany Rust!
On June 14, 2011, Dr. Rust had her first day at Galloway Village Veterinary. This year marks her 10 Year Anniversary and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate her! Dr. Rust had a chance to reflect on her time with Galloway Village Veterinary, and here is what she had to say...
Some thoughts from Dr. Rust
Today is your 10 year anniversary at GVV! What thoughts or emotions come to mind when you think of that?"It has been a great 10 years! I love the bonds that have been created with my patients and their owners. I wouldn't trade the last 10 years for anything!"
What motivated you to become a veterinarian?
"Even at a very young age, I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian. I wanted to be able to help save the lives of animals, in addition to wanting to help and educate clients on how to best care for their furry family members. It is a perfect mix of being able to help animals and people."
What excites you the most about your job?
"I love seeing puppies and kittens come in for their first wellness exam and then watching them grow into adults. I also love being able to work closely with our technicians, receptionists, and kennel staff. We have a very dedicated and hard-working team. I couldn't do what I do every day without them!"
Final Thoughts from Dr. Rust?
"I look forward to seeing what changes in veterinary medicine in the next few years. This will help provide even better care for the patients that I see. I also look forward to forming even more bonds with clients and their pets."
